Hi, my name is Urmi, and I joined VCU as an international student. I completed my B.S. and M.S. in Statistics from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before joining VCU, I was working as a faculty member at the American International University in my country. My research interests primarily concern chronic diseases, specifically cancer and diabetes. Apart from studying, I like travelling, reading and playing with my pet.
