Nineteen students and faculty represented the Department of Biostatistics at this summer's Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) in Denver, Colorado. JSM is the largest gathering of statisticians and data scientists held in North America.
Support for student travel was largely provided by the department in accordance with our training mission, with additional support from a combination of grant funding and assistance from the School of Medicine Graduate Studies office.
